Default Immunity Runes

Hi all,

Cut to the chase, my suggestion:

Immunity runes, ie equip this rune to ignore/not be targeted by X skill. They would equip the same way as attribute runes so there are still only 5 total runes to have (5 attributes, 5 immunities, a mix, etc).

I think this gives a new way for money to be spent as well as balances PvP some as the current rave skill will make players get immunity to it. As this skill then becomes unpopular, new strategy will come about... people will buy new runes to match and the cycle continues (hence the spending of money).

What's everyone think?

With Observer mode looming on the horizon, I think this would simply prompt people to look whatever the current HoH-winning team is using as pivotal skills and put immunities on for those skills specifically. I'd prefer counters to continue to originate from build ideas (protection vs. lightning, health buffs etc. to counter air spikers) instead of offering prefab counters against them (rune of lightning orb immunity?).

Another problem I forsee with this is that with over 450 skills in the game, that's a whole lot of runes you'd need to unlock. Maybe 50 of those total would be interesting to actually ever use, but like with rare armour drops, you usually don't get to choose which superior you end up with.
